Chanel Pre-Fall 2012

Chanel is always debuting their latest collections in the most creative ways. Whether the models are strutting out of a Chanel airplane or popping out of a giant oyster shell, one thing is for sure – the Paris based brand always seems to top itself. Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2012  runway show guests were seated at an elaborate banquet set up in the Grand Palais in Paris. They were served champagne, guava juice, tea, and miniature cakes and sandwiches. An antique silver train with the double-C Chanel logo across the central banquet table. The Paris-Bombay-themed collection, inspired by the jewels, colors, and fabrics of India, was accented by nose rings and twisted dreadlock updos. I am in love with this collection – my favorite is the way the fashion house decided to utilize and incorporate metallic golds and silvers.
