Going Vogue. Living Vogue. Being Vogue.

As a 16 year old living outside of Washington, D.C., I am eager to express myself in a world of emerging fashion and conservative style. “Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.” – Yves Saint Laurent

Best Dressed

This week Gwyneth Paltrow stunned at the 2011 Bambi Awards wearing an embellished emerald Elie Saab gown in Germany. The entire look was perfect, from her bright blond hair, to the sparkling diamond necklace, Paltrow made this Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2012 dress come alive! On another note, Kate Middleton looked stately as she donned a flawless, classic Jenny Packham gown, as she wore a poppy in remembrance of military veterans.

Wish List

I have recently come to terms with the fact that I have an obsession with Goyard. The French brand is known for their original hand painted geometric pattern, which has become their trademark. They began creating luxury trunks and have been Louis Vuitton’s rival since the mid 19th century. I have been lusting after their St. Louis Tote and I am determined to get my hands on one. I love how inconspicuous the bag is. Living in the D.C. area, I have yet to see one.  They come in a variety of colors and Goyard also offers hand painted monograms and stripe detailing. There is only one Goyard store in the United States; however, they are sold at Bergdorf Goodman and Barney’s in NYC and LA. They St. Louis PM runs for $940 and the GM runs for $1,080. They have been spotted for celebrities from Gwyneth Paltrow to Nicky Hilton to Princess Beatrice of York.
