Going Vogue. Living Vogue. Being Vogue.

As a 16 year old living outside of Washington, D.C., I am eager to express myself in a world of emerging fashion and conservative style. “Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.” – Yves Saint Laurent

Designer Spotlight

Missoni originated in Italy in 1953. It is a family business founded by Ottavio and Rosarita Missoni. The brand is known for their colorful knitwear — their knitwear varies in fabrics, colors, and geometric patterns. Tons of celebrities have been spotted wearing Missoni’s knitted creations, often clad with their trademark chevron pattern, such as Blake Lively, Nicky Hilton, Kate Hudson, Kate Moss, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, and the Khloe Kardashian. What are your thoughts on Missoni’s gorgeous, one-of-a-kind creations?

Fashion Feud

I don’t know about you guys, but am struggling to choose a winner for this Fashion Feud. Fergie and Kate Moss sported this Louis Vuitton ensemble.  I think it is very Fergie, but I’m not the biggest fan of her paring the outfit with black opaque tights, which detract from the overall look. I prefer Kate Moss’ runway look. The intricate detail in the coat is more visible and the outstanding gladiators are shown off! What are your thoughts?

The Best of Kate Moss

I am excited to announce that I will be starting a new blog segment called, “The Best of…” It will feature various celebrities sporting their best looks of all time. I thought, no one would be better to kick off this segment than one and only Kate Moss. She is known for popularizing the “heroine chic” look, which led to her becoming one of the most famous super models. She changed the look of modeling in the 80s with her size zero figure. She has become an international fashion icon and has been recognized by Vanity Fair, landing on their international best dressed list and she received the Fashion Influence Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Who would you like to see appear on the next “The Best of…”?
